This research seeks to answer the question of whether the existence of military areas in Isfahan affects the security of citizens? And on the other hand, considering the distance dimension, what is the relationship between the distance from the military areas in the city and the security of the citizens? Based on this, GIS and SPSS software and the Likert spectrum questionnaire have been investigated. The results of the research show that young women and young boys and young boys are severely reduced by reducing their distance from the 44th and 55th barracks of Isfahan, especially at night. Residents of residential houses during the war, given the possibility of air strikes in the military areas, feel their safety until The distance of 1500 meters is quite low and as the distance increases from the garrison, the sense of safety goes up. با گسترش شهرها و شهرنشینی خصوصاً در کلان‌شهرها، بسیاری از مناطق نظامی که در بیرون شهرها احداث‌شده بودند در مناطق مسکونی شهر قرارگرفته‌اند. این پژوهش به دنبال جواب این پرسش است که آیا وجود مناطق نظامی در شهر اصفهان تأثیری بر امنیت شهروندان می‌گذارد؟ و از طرفی با در نظر گرفتن بعد مسافت چه رابطه‌ای بین فاصله از مناطق نظامی در شهر و امنیت شهروندان وجود دارد؟ بر این اساس با استفاده از نرم‌افزار GIS و SPSS وپرسشنامه طیف لیکرت این موضوع بررسی‌شده است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد زنان و دختران جوان و پسران نوجوان با کاهش فاصله نسبت به پادگان ‌44 و 55 اصفهان و مخصوصاً در شب احساس امنیت آنان به‌شدت کاهش می‌یابد همچنین ساکنین منازل مسکونی در زمان جنگ با توجه به‌احتمال حمله هوایی به مناطق نظامی احساس امنیت آنان تا فاصله 1500 متر کاملاً پایین است و با افزایش فاصله از پادگان احساس امنیّت بالا می‌رود.
